Article Metropolis Submission Guidelines

We've made the rules for submitting your articles to Article Metropolis simple, but they must be followed!

• The articles that you submit must be your own work - You may not submit articles written by other authors and the content must be unique. No rebranded articles are allowed, you must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. Articles written by a ghost writer are perfectly acceptable as long as they are being used only by yourself.

• By submitting your articles to Article Metropolis , you grant us the right to publish your articles - we may publish your article anywhere on our website, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time.

• By submitting your articles to Article Metropolis, you grant others the right to publish your articles - Other Article Metropolis users have the right to publish your articles on their websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content.

• No affiliate links!- The articles that you submit to Article Metropolis should not contain affiliate links. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's of helpful sites or your own website which redirects to the recommended affiliate product.

• Use the resource box for linking back to your site - Articles submitted will not be approved if they contain links in the body belonging to the author. Please use the resource box to link back to your site.

• Please limit resource box links to 3 or fewer - Articles containing more than 3 links in the resource box will not be approved.

• Submitting your articles to Article Metropolis does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind - You will not receive compensation from articlemetropolis.com or the users of our directory for articles you submit. Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason. Please do not be offended if we reject you article for no apparent reason - this is normally due to duplicate submission or the fact that the article is already present within the Article Metropolis directory. Please note that if you use a submission service such as Article Marketer we will recieve your article in due course and there is no need to submit to Article Metropolis. Thanks!

• Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting - Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar. We do monitor article submissions and we will reject content that doesn't meet this requirement.

• Articles should be at least 600 and not over about 2,000 words long. Below 600 words it's not really an article - more of a snippet - and over that length ezine editors may consider your article word-heavy. The ideal length is 700-900 words. We will especially reject articles below 600 words but articles over 2,000 words will be considered on their merits.
• Multiple submissions of articles that are essentially identical in content will be rejected. It is the intention of Article Metropolis to provide quality content articles so please ensure your articles are content-rich and informative. Remember - one really good article is better than ten poor ones!
